I want to connect my phone to my car and use the GPS on screen in my digital display.

In order to do this, you must have a CarPlay compatible display. No all manufacturers support this, even on the latest models. If your manufacturer does not support CarPlay, there are several aftermarket systems from companies like JVC, Pioneer, and Kenwood (among others) that do support it.
